Fascist Nazi Racist Donald Trump Once Again Accuses Media of Bias

The claim: Trump said these 28 racist things

Throughout his presidency, Donald Trump has frequently been criticized for using or peddling racist language. A post on Instagram suggests those comments have piled up.

The mail service depicts a cartoon cartoon of the president, who'south saying, "I'm the least racist person in the room," a comment he made at the final presidential argue this month in Nashville. He's surrounded by voice communication bubbles of racist statements he reportedly fabricated.

Of the 28 listed comments, Trump said 12 of them equally manifestly stated. 2 he said just lack context. Four comments are disputed, viii are paraphrased from similar statements and two he did not say.

The person who drew and shared the mail service, Instagram user @heatherschiederillustrates_, said she sourced the comments from statements, tweets and interviews as they came through the news cycle. For her, Trump's presidency made the election personal.

"Every bit a half Egyptian woman who was a bourgeois Catholic until the 2016 election cycle, I am have been worn downwards by this administration and their racism, xenophobia, sexism and utter mockery of real Christian values," she told United states of america TODAY. "...For our own humanity and survival every bit a Nation, nosotros need to vote him out."

What Trump didn't say

On the list of 28 statements, two were decisively not said by Trump. Viii were paraphrased from similar comments the president made, but he did not say them explicitly.

'White ability'

At that place is no record of the president saying "white power." He did come under fire in June for sharing a video to Twitter in which a Trump supporter was heard shouting those words at counter protesters. The tweet was deleted three hours after it was posted, the Washington Mail reported.

'Send her back'

Trump also did not say "ship her dorsum," in reference to Somali-born Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar. At a 2019 campaign rally in North Carolina, supporters in the crowd began to chant those words. In that location'south no evidence Trump tried to stop the chants – although he says he did – merely he never joined in. He afterward disavowed the linguistic communication.

At a different indicate, he did post on Twitter that a group of "progressive Democrat congresswomen" — nearly likely referring to Omar and other progressive colleagues often dubbed "the Team" — could "get back and assist fix the totally broken and criminal offense infested places from which they came."

'Where'south his birth certificate?'

There's no record of Trump using this verbal language. However, he did question the authenticity of President Barack Obama's nascence document, raising questions of his identify of birth and religion, before flipping in 2016 and maxim he believes Obama was born in the U.S. "Why doesn't he show his birth document? There'southward something on that birth document that he doesn't similar," Trump said on ABC's "The View" in 2011, according to CNN.

'Impaired Don Lemon made LeBron look smart'

The president tweeted a comment similar to this in 2018 after CNN anchor Don Lemon interviewed NBA star LeBron James well-nigh a schoolhouse he opened in Cleveland. However, Trump never called Lemon "Impaired Don Lemon" precisely. Here's what he said: "LeBron James was merely interviewed by the dumbest homo on television, Don Lemon. He made LeBron look smart, which isn't piece of cake to exercise. I like Mike!"

In the interview, Lemon asked James what he'd say to Trump if he were sitting across from him, to which James responded he would never sit across from him. Lemon responded to Trump'southward tweet saying he "traffics in racism and is fueled by bullying."

'My impeachment = lynching.'

The president described his impeachment probe equally a "lynching" in Oct 2019, the Washington Mail reported. He did not say the ii were "equal."

'Let's shoot migrants! I desire an electric wall! A snake and alligator filled moat!'

Trump did not say these phrases all at once, as the post presents them. But the New York Times reported in 2019 that he suggested each idea at some bespeak in March of that year as a way to wearisome down immigration.

'Suburban housewives: Depression income housing will invade your neighborhood.'

The president tweeted a like comment in August, conflating an increase in low income housing with a lack of safety. Here'southward what he said exactly: "The 'suburban housewife' will exist voting for me. They want safety & are thrilled that I concluded the long running program where low income housing would invade their neighborhood."

' Mexican rapists'

Trump made a similar comment in 2015, when he announced that he was launching his presidential bid. "When United mexican states sends its people, they're non sending their best," he said. "…They're bringing drugs, they're bringing crime, they're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."

'The 1619 Projection is poisonous substance and kid abuse.'

Trump said that the New York Times' "1619 Project" is "ideological poison" and that teaching it is "form of child corruption in the truest sense of those words" in September, according to White Firm records. Once more, the post'southward language does not quote Trump directly.

'Low IQ refugees'

Just terminal calendar week, some other annotate made by Trump made news as beingness racially insensitive. The post alleges Trump used the phrase "depression IQ refugees," but there'southward more than to the story than that.

During the immigration section of the presidential fence in Nashville, Trump criticizedDemocratic candidate Joe Biden over the Obama assistants's catch and release policy.

"When you say they come up dorsum, they don't come back, Joe. They never come up back," he said, co-ordinate to USA TODAY's transcript. "Just the actually — I hate to say this — simply those with the lowest IQ, they might come back." Trump did not say all refugees are low IQ as the post insinuates.

Disputed comments

For four of the comments listed on the mail service, at that place'south not enough show to make up one's mind whether Trump really said them.

'S---hole countries'

During immigration talks in the Oval Part in 2018, Trump reportedly resorted to using crude descriptors for Haiti, El salvador and some African countries, the Washington Post reported. In the conversation, held between Trump and several congressmen, the president allegedly called those countries "s---hole countries."

Two of the congressmen at the coming together said they didn't remember the president using those words and 1 refused to say ane way or some other, USA TODAY reported. The sources the Times cited were anonymous staffers who had either attended the meeting or been briefed on it, according to the report. The White House did non deny the "overall description" of the meeting, but "strenuously insisted" Trump never used the words "AIDS" or "huts" in reference to people from any country, the Times report said.

'Laziness is a trait in Blacks'

The terminal unverified argument attributed to Trump – that he said "laziness is a trait in Blacks" – was published in the 1991 book "Trumped!", written by a former employee of Trump Plaza Hotel & Casino, John R. O'Donnell. In that location has been no verification of the statement exterior the book's claim. The Washington Post described the phrase as "a second manus quote, made in a private conversation and written some years after the fact" and said it should be viewed with "some skepticism."

Trump did not dispute the quote when asked about it in 1997, merely denied information technology two years later in an interview on "Run into the Press."

President Donald Trump on Oct. 17, 2020, in Norton Shores, Michigan.

Trump said that, only information technology needs context

He saw in the oversupply a Black man and called him out.

"You know what I'k – oh, wait at my African American over here," Trump said. "Look at him. Are you the greatest? You lot know what I'thousand talking most?"

The homo was Gregory Cheadle, a Republican from California running for part at the time. He later spoke out well-nigh it, telling NPR News that he was non a Trump supporter only went to see him speak because he has an "open up mind."

"I was not offended past it considering he had been speaking positively nigh Black people prior to that statement," he told NPR. "People around me were laughing (at the fact) that he noticed me and everybody was happy. It was a jovial matter."

While the president did back up the linguistic communication, he wasn't personally referring to a actor.

'These aren't people. These are animals.'
